SexyMD is a telehealth platform that connects you with licensed providers who can prescribe wellness, performance, intimacy, and weight management treatments online. The flow is simple: create an account, pick your treatment, and complete an online medical intake form. A licensed provider reviews your information to determine whether the treatment is appropriate for you. If approved, your prescription is fulfilled by a U.S.-licensed pharmacy and shipped directly to your door.
SexyMD partners with licensed medical providers across the United States — including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, depending on your state’s regulations. Every provider on the platform holds an active state license, and they’re the ones reviewing your medical intake and writing your prescription if a treatment is appropriate for you. You’ll see who reviewed your case in the Patient Portal, and you can reach out with follow-up questions through your messages.
Yes. All medical treatments offered through SexyMD require evaluation and approval by a licensed provider. After you complete your online medical intake, a provider reviews your information and determines whether the treatment is medically appropriate. If it is, the prescription is issued and sent to a licensed pharmacy for fulfillment.
SexyMD does not bill insurance directly. We offer transparent, upfront pricing so you know exactly what you’re paying before you check out. SexyMD will provide you with a receipt you can submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement, but coverage isn’t guaranteed.
HSA and FSA cards may be accepted for eligible expenses, depending on your plan and the product you select.
Yes, we partner with U.S.-based 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies. 503A pharmacies are licensed and regulated by state boards of pharmacy, while 503B outsourcing facilities are registered with and regulated by the FDA. Both operate under applicable state and federal regulations.
Compounded medications are custom-prepared for individual patients based on a licensed provider’s prescription and, unlike mass-produced brand-name drugs, are not reviewed or approved by the FDA. In some cases, compounded medications may contain active ingredients that are also found in FDA-approved medications. For example, semaglutide is the active ingredient used in FDA-approved medications such as Wegovy® and Ozempic®. However, the specific compounded formulations prepared by a compounding pharmacy are not themselves FDA-approved. All treatment options are prescribed only after review by a licensed medical provider, who will determine whether a medication is appropriate based on your individual health history and goals.
Sexy MD is available in all 50 states. Some exclusions may apply and availability may depend on state regulations and the partnered pharmacy licensing in each state.
